FUEL OIL DELIVERY
Supply and delivery of oil are critical to our customers' comfort and satisfaction. Oil delivery is based on a specially formulated, computerized, degree-day based system*, which is monitored 24-hours a day, 365 days a year.
The vast majority of our customers choose to have their oil delivered to them automatically to alleviate the unnecessary anxiety that comes with the responsibility of watching their own usage. Automatic delivery is based on degree-days. When your account has accrued enough degree-days, our advanced computer technology advises us to dispatch a delivery to your home. Rest assured that our trained and licensed service technicians will arrive at your home promptly, whenever you need us, whether it's 3 a.m. on a weekend, or just before midnight on New Year's Eve.
We ensure a dependable oil supply in two ways:
1. As a "contract oil buyer," we sign long-term oil supply contracts with major oil companies, including: Citgo, Exxon Mobil, Global Petroleum, Irving Oil of Canada and Gulf Oil. This ensures that we will always have plenty of oil for the heating season.
2. We own and operate our own two million gallon oil storage terminal. Most dealers do not operate their own large oil terminal to help ensure secure supply.

*When the average temperature drops one degree below 65 degrees for a 24-hour period, one "degree-day" has occurred.
